Sonnet writing (16/06/10 20:57:20)
It's really worthwhile doing once in a while. A few days ago (or was it yesterday) the group I belong to decided to write a letter to the management with a considerable number of points. It could easily have bloated into several pages, but was kept down to one-half page (so one page altogether, including the signatures.).
The method we used was: One secretary at the keyboard, and everybody reading the text projected on the wall with real-time criticism and rewriting, starting with two statements that everybody could agree on - and building bottom-up.
The discipline of writing a couple of sonnets a few days earlier came in very handy for the keyboard monkey.
